My heart is heavy today. I told myself I wouldn’t reach out to you until at least 2018, but then realized I’d break it for either today or your birthday… I decided on your birthday. I thought about both…

I just woke up dreaming and thinking about you, which is crazy cause of the date. I worry about you, and I hurt over you, but I love you. I hope you’re happy.

I remember where we were a year ago today. I’ve written to you in my notes almost daily until recently. My grandma and I spoke about you I think yesterday too. She told me she was going to pray for us to get back together. I told her not to pray for that. I told her just to pray for your well being and your health. I think happiness too.

I always kept thinking about you, and kept caring about you.
